He has shared stages with renowned artists like Chris Potter, Eric Harland, Fred Hersch, Anat Cohen, and many others. Hekselman’s quartet has graced legendary venues like The Village Vanguard, and he has performed at major jazz clubs such as the Blue Note and The Jazz Standard in NYC, as well as at international festivals like Montreux and North Sea. With nine critically acclaimed albums to his name, including the recent release “Far Star” in May 2022, featuring collaborations with notable musicians like Eric Harland and Shai Maestro, Hekselman’s musical journey has been marked by awards and recognition, including first place in Downbeat Magazine’s Rising Star category and performances alongside guitar legend Pat Metheny. Born in Israel, Hekselman’s musical prowess was evident from a young age, leading to a successful career rooted in jazz guitar excellence.
